40 days after Easter Jesus ascended to the right hand of His Father and our Father, where He ever lives and reigns as our crucified and risen Savior and continues to be with us in Word and Sacrament. We live and move and have our being in Him, even as we await with joy His return on the Last Day. Happy Ascension!
While you were barbecuing and spending time with family Sunday evening, your state reps snuck thru legislation to slaughter the unborn till the moment of birth and force everyone, including churches, to fund it. The almighty self continues to offer its weakest on the altar of convenience in this twisted bloody sacrament to the Molech of this age. Pray for our culture and all those swept up in the lies of the evil one.
As most of our regular attendees are out of town, we are cancelling men’s Bible breakfast on Saturday. Class will resume in June!
Many of you know Michael, Diane’s son, a longtime member here. He is currently stationed at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. He and his wife got 14 precious hours with their son before God called him home. Baptized into Christ, little Michael is a child of our heavenly Father, clothed with Christ’s perfect righteousness. Rest in peace, little Michael. Please keep Michael & Nicole and their family in your prayers. We eagerly await Christ’s return and the day of resurrection!

Jesus: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19).

Jesus washes feet. Jesus teaches. Jesus loves. Jesus gives to His Church His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Come and join Jesus at His table this evening as we take to heart His words and promises, receive His humble service, partake of His holy meal, and return home strengthened in fervent love toward one another. The Divine Service begins at 7pm.
